Arduino Day 2017-2 copy.jpg

OzBerry invited local makers to the FabLab for an all day making spectacular! Arduinos (and compatible) featured at the event bringing ideas to life.

In attendance were kids and adults new to coding who wanted to learn a little more about Arduino. Over 80 guests collaborated on team projects or tackled one of the prepared tutorial.

The Arduino-fueled hack-day was for complete beginners to regular engineers and was supported by the OzBerry brains trust. (Photo Credit: Adrian Cafarella Instagram: @aiddy81)

Snepo FabLab hosted the offical launch party in February 2016 to support the local industry.

It wasn't easy to transform the old Cafe Pacifico restaurant into the new Snepo home. We ripped out the cool room (1 pop rivet at a time) and removed 3 tons for scrap metal, not to mention 14 truckloads of rubbish and recycling. On December 9 2016 we hosted the offical launch party. Everyone came together with over 120 guests celebrating with a festive pre-xmas dance into the early hours of the morning.
